How to Get to Us
By ferry and car.
By Brittany Ferries to St Malo or Caen. The drive from St Malo or Caen takes about 5/6 hours. John and Alexandra will send you routes to l'Age Baston. Or get a route from Google Maps, above.
By rail.
Eurostar/SNCF Waterloo-Angouleme takes about 7 hours via Lille or Paris. There is just a platform change at Lille, which is the easiest but slightly longer journey. The journey via Paris requires you to change stations.
John and Alex will collect you from Angouleme station.
By air
- London Stansted to Poitiers or Limoges, Liverpool to Limoges (Ryanair)
- Bristol or Luton to Bordeaux (Easyjet)
- Birmingham or Southampton to La Rochelle (FlyBE)
- London to Bordeaux (British Airways)
John and Alex will collect you from the airport.
By air and rail.
- London to Paris (British Airways), or
- London to Paris (Air France)
and then SNCF French Railways to Angouleme.
John and Alex will collect you from Angouleme station.
