Bonjour a Chris Forsey!

Chris Forsey comes with all the skills and experience you could need in a tutor and the reputation for being an excellent, entertaining teacher and nice guy to boot.

Chris started teaching in 1999 and holds workshops and teaches regularly at Dedham Hall in Suffolk as well as running monthly sessions and demonstrations for Art Societies in the South East of England.  He also teaches further afield in Cornwall, Sweden, Greece and now, of course, France! He loves colour and works and teaches in watercolour and acrylics on paper and acrylics on canvas. In mixed media, he combines water colour with acrylic, pastel and gouache.  His teaching style is lively, fun and informative.  Chris specialises in landscape and takes inspiration from the countryside, townscapes and café life.  His students often say that he brings the same kind of energy and commitment to his teaching style, which sounds good to us.

Regularly exhibiting throughout the UK, he is also a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and the Society of Graphic Fine artists.  He has a series of DVD’s to his name on watercolour techniques and you have may have also seen some of his regular contributions in the ‘The Artist’ magazine.

So here’s a snippet from one of Chris’ DVD’s ‘Beyond Watercolour’ followed by a few words from the man himself:

“Hi I’m Chris and I can’t wait to come out to L’Age Baston to teach again next year. Looking forward to working in such a beautiful location and painting with you, so I hope you’ll join me and I look forward to meeting you.  www.chrisforsey.com
