L’Age Baston Ltd: Terms & Conditions

YOUR AGREEMENT WITH US

To make a booking, please complete the online booking form and make a deposit payment of £350 per person per course, by personal cheque, bank transfer or credit/debit card. Full payment is required 8 weeks before the start of your holiday by personal cheque, bank transfer or debit/credit card on-line. Bookings made within eight weeks of the start of your holiday must be accompanied with full payment.

INSURANCE

As a condition of your booking and for your own protection, please take out full holiday insurance to include cover for: accident & medical expenses, loss of personal property, personal liability, cancellations costs and activities. For EU residents, please make sure you have a valid EHIC card (European Health Insurance Card), previously called the E111 which is available from the Department of Health in the UK.

CHANGING YOUR BOOKING

We realise that occasionally you may need to make changes to your booking. Whenever possible L’Age Baston Limited will try to make the changes you request, subject to availability and on condition you may be liable to pay any additional costs which may result.

IF YOU CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY

All cancellations must be made to L’Age Baston Limited in writing either via email or post. It is the policy of L’Age Baston to try to re-sell your place as soon as we are advised of your cancellation. If successful, the cost of your holiday will be refunded to you, less your deposit. If unsuccessful, L’Age Baston reserves the right to retain full or part payment of your holiday.

IF WE CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY

In the unlikely event that L’Age Baston Limited needs to cancel your booking, you will be offered alternative dates and courses (subject to availability). If you do not wish to accept you may be offered a full refund of the cost of your holiday. L’Age Baston Limited accepts no responsibility for cancellation of booked holidays due to Force Majeure. This includes: acts of war, riots, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, strikes, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, water levels or other similar events out of our control. Under these situations, you would need to claim from your own insurance company.

DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY POLICY

We will only use and store information about you and other members of your party for the purposes set out in our privacy policy. We do not share this information with any other companies.

ROOM REQUESTS

L’Age Baston Ltd does not charge Single Person Supplement, however if you are travelling with a close friend we would ask you to consider sharing a room. Because we price our holidays as a package, it is not possible to book a particular bedroom in advance. However if there is a room that is special to you, please let us know at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate you. Rooms are available from 4pm on arrival day and we ask that rooms are vacated by 10am on your day of departure.

TRANSFERS

We arrange free transfers to and from: Angoulême Train Station, Limoges Airport or Bordeaux Airport on Saturdays only. The times of our transfers will be published on our website at the beginning of each calendar year as soon as travel companies have released their summer schedules. If your train or flight arrives much earlier or later than our scheduled transfer time, we will still try to offer you transfers, but you may need to wait a while. In this case, please check with L’Age Baston Ltd before you book your travel.

SMOKING

For safety and the comfort of our guests, all bedrooms and internal spaces in buildings at Château L’Age Baston are non-smoking.
