Our French for Francophiles is a course for people with some prior knowledge of the language, and who are looking to make progress. You will talk, listen and we hope begin to think in French whilst learning about the people and culture of France. You can build your grammar and vocabulary and improve your oral and listening skills in the tender care of our tutors. There is much more talking than writing, a very practical week.
Our groups are small to give you the personal attention and speaking time you need to make progress. Time enough to “tune in” to different voices and get to know your tutors and fellow students. There is a class session every morning except Wednesday when you will visit one of the largest weekly markets in the area. Your Wednesday session will be after lunch instead.
In the afternoons there are optional guided visits and trips to local places of interest. These visits are often based on topics discussed in the morning session and may have practical exercised attached. Some students prefer to spend the afternoons sitting by the pool, playing boule or croquet. Some may choose to explore the surrounding areas on our bikes. It’s your holiday!
When you book your course, please download our French Language Question-naire and complete and return. This will help our tutors decide the materials to use. It is straightforward to fill in. All course materials are included. Whether you are learning for business or pleasure, our French team will provide the right motivation so that you will make good progress in the wonderful surroundings.
